Focused, evidence-based sessions with a psychologist who has been doing this for nearly 20 years. You will leave every session with something useful: a new strategy, a clearer perspective, or a concrete next step. Not just insight for insight's sake.
Schedule NowAll evidence-based. All tailored to you. Here is what they mean in plain language.
The most researched therapy approach in the world. We identify the specific thought patterns and behaviors keeping a problem going, then systematically replace them with more effective ones. Strong evidence for anxiety, depression, PTSD, and ADHD. Most people start noticing shifts in how they respond to situations within the first few weeks.
Instead of fighting difficult thoughts and feelings, build a different relationship with them. Take action toward your goals even when discomfort shows up. Especially effective for anxiety, avoidance, and chronic stress. It's about living a full life alongside difficult emotions rather than waiting for them to go away first.
A structured treatment for PTSD and trauma. Examine and reframe the beliefs that formed around a traumatic experience — the stuck points keeping you feeling unsafe, guilty, or powerless. Typically 12 sessions with measurable progress. One of the most well-studied trauma treatments available, recommended by the VA and the APA.
A targeted approach for trauma-related nightmares. Rewrite the nightmare script while awake, then rehearse the new version. Most people see significant reduction in nightmare frequency and intensity within weeks. Particularly effective alongside CPT or CBT when nightmares are a core part of the trauma response.
Understand the different roles your internal responses play — protectors, managers, exiles carrying old pain. Develop a compassionate relationship with all parts of yourself. Especially powerful for complex trauma and self-criticism. Helps people who feel stuck in patterns that logic alone hasn't been able to change.
If you've never been to therapy — or it's been a while — here's everything you need to know before your first session.
Your therapist will ask about what brought you in, your background, and what you're hoping to get out of therapy. Together you'll start identifying goals and talk through how sessions will work going forward. It's a conversation — you share at your own pace, and there's room for questions on both sides.
Each session starts with a brief check-in, then you and your therapist focus on one or two specific things — a situation from the week, a pattern you're working on, or a skill you're building. Sessions are 50-55 minutes. You'll usually leave with something concrete to practice or pay attention to before the next one.
Most people start with weekly sessions to build momentum. As things improve, we space sessions out to biweekly or monthly. The goal is to give you skills you keep for life — then step back so you can use them on your own. Typical courses of treatment run 8 to 20 sessions depending on what you're working on.
All sessions happen via secure, HIPAA-compliant video. You can attend from home, your office, or wherever you have a private space and a stable connection. Available to anyone physically located in Oregon during their session.
Daytime, evening, and weekend appointments are all available. Most people start within a week of their consultation. You book online and can reschedule up to 24 hours in advance — simple and self-service.
We work with all major insurers. If we're in-network with yours, you'll pay your standard copay or coinsurance. For other plans, we offer courtesy billing — we submit the claim to your insurer on your behalf. We'll help you understand what you owe before your first session so you can plan ahead.
